Mental Health First Aid Training (2 days)

This training qualifies you as a Youth Mental Health First Aider and is designed for anyone who works with or supports children and young people aged 8 - 18 years of age.

In an average group of thirty children and young people, seven are likely to have been bullied, six may be self-harming and one could have experienced the death of a parent. This training will give you the skills and confidence to step in, offer first aid and guide children and young people (aged 8 – 18 years) in distress towards the support they need.

Through a mix of group activities, presentations and discussions, each session is built around a Youth Mental Health First Aid action plan.
