Creative Outdoor Learning

An exciting and inspirational approach to developing learning skills and content at all ages for those eager to find out the benefits of being outdoors.

Creative Outdoor Learning is a practical course, providing ideas, activities and approaches.  It aims to support any member of staff wishing to develop an outdoor ethos or approach in their setting or school.

With the agreed common understanding in education theory that it is through creativity, cognitive challenge and practical application that learning skills are developed, we look at how the outdoors offers us all of these.

Whether you are from a behavioural unit looking to address challenging individual targets, working with pupils with severe SEND or a class teacher with a curriculum focus, this course promotes visionary planning, identifies potential barriers and enables you to leave with a clear ethos and an approach to help you get started.

Audience—Teachers of EYFS, KS1 or KS2, TAs, Middle & Senior Leaders

Date: Tuesday 29th January 2019
