@DilkesDptsa:

Pedagogy

Another Research and Development project in which DPTSA is participating is a national initiative ‘What makes great professional development which leads to consistently great pedagogy?’ The Alliance will be using Joint Practice Development to facilitate effective, high impact practice through promoting the idea of research informed teachers, who understand that learning is a continuous journey. The main project aims are to:

· Actively engage with research evidence about learning and teaching

· Develop a shared understanding of learning and research-informed teaching

· Commit to collaborative working with other teachers

· Share and celebrate success

· Recognise that raising achievement requires teachers to change teaching methods.
